IMPLEMENTING A NEW PARADIGM FOR ADVANCING PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SCIENCE
ITI’s founders have determined that the next-generation clinical research paradigm requires a dedicated organization that:
- CENTRALIZES resources and expertise and provides scale as well as quality assurance and control;
- STANDARDIZES and links data (basic and clinical) in clinical trial design to maximize interpretive power; and
- COORDINATES data sharing and IP generation to allow efficient transition to the marketplace.
With these capabilities established, ITI’s initial business focus will be to secure research partnerships through the laboratories at its Center for Critical Path Immunology. A strong relationship of this type is already in place through a Research Services Agreement (RSA) with ITI co-founder UCSF and the ITN. As ITI’s initial collaborator, the ITN has partnered with ITI to leverage its best-in-class, industry-quality capabilities.
